Alba Advisory advises the CEO of Ecco Bat on its merger with the SBTX group
The SBTX group, a regional player specializing in property works and maintenance for real estate asset managers, continues its growth and strengthens its expertise through its merger with ECCO BAT, a regional leader in the maintenance, repair and replacement of joinery and locksmithing.
Led by Georges Perrillat and Fabrice Perge, the SBTX Group, based in Genay, comprises four companies specializing in renovation, rehabilitation and maintenance across masonry, waterproofing, roofing and zinc work, and rope-access special works. Its offering is aimed primarily at institutional clients, facility managers, property management companies and industrial players.
ECCO BAT SERVICES, based in Villefontaine, specializes in maintenance for real estate asset managers, with strong expertise in joinery and locksmithing as well as energy renovation. The company now employs more than twenty people. It operates more specifically in the technical fields of property maintenance for joinery and locksmithing (windows, shutters, doors, etc.). To this end it maintains a permanent stock that allows it to respond quickly to clients in the Lyon and Grenoble areas.
Backed by a custom-built IT tool and optimal route-based organization, it guarantees its clients high-quality service within short timeframes. ECCO BAT’s clientele is largely made up of social landlords, but the company has successfully expanded its client base to local authorities, facility managers and property management companies.
With this first merger, the SBTX group is deploying its strategy of building a regional group specializing in property works and maintenance for real estate asset managers, as Fabrice Perge points out: “With my background as the head of a property management company and the transactional constraints I have faced, I am convinced that a structured and responsive group with a clear offering is a genuine source of savings and time for our clients.”
Through this transaction, Martin Goudable retains the leadership of his company and fully commits to the development of the SBTX group by investing in its capital.
Joining the SBTX Group represents a strategic turning point for ECCO BAT. We share a common vision: to build a benchmark regional player in sustainable renovation and maintenance, serving landlords, local authorities and businesses. This transaction allows us to align with a solid group that will support our growth and strengthen our position in the market. We are convinced that the complementarity of our know-how and the synergy between our teams will offer our clients even greater added value.
